The Opportunity
 
This is a key role supporting the Managing Director / Creative Head of the business. You will be responsible for managing the day to day operational aspects of the business including liaising with distributors, agents and retail customers, together with negotiating orders, production and pricing with garment suppliers. Production planning, stock control and management of the sales order processing are key elements of this role.
 
Working in partnership with the Financial Controller you will be one of two senior managers within the business and will report to and work directly with the Managing Director. As such flexibility and a hands-on approach are vital to ensure success, as is the ability to spot and develop opportunities and similarly utilise your problem solving skills to commercial gain.
 
The Ideal Candidate
Okay, you will have a genuine interest in the fashion industry and will have worked at various stages in design, merchandising, product development and account management. It is desirable that you understand market trends especially those which influence buyers and agents and that you have a genuine lean towards progressive design.
